Jose Mourinho has been linked with a new name in his apparent search for a quality attacking player to improve the squad.
The Red Devils are heading into this weekend’s round of fixture in the Premier League knowing that any more slip ups could put the final nail in the coffin regarding their title hopes.
Of course, those concerns about challenging Manchester City might be reduced if United were to bring a player of notable quality in the winter.
And based on a report by the Daily Mail, Mourinho is eyeing a move for highly-rated winger Christian Pulisic.
United have linked with the signing of Mesut Ozil and Gareth Bale as well, but the addition of Pulisic would be one for now and the future.
The American youngster is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the game at the moment after his emergence at Dortmund over the past couple of years.
With Henrikh Mkhitaryan seemingly on his way out of Old Trafford, the arrival of Pulisic would certainly be necessary.
