The reward for loving a man is not a harvest of beating, including public humiliation. It represents disrespect and abuse of human value. If he can do this in the public, I fear for what can happen in the secret place. Falling in love is not equivalent to being imprisoned. If you can't change him, secure yourself. If he kills you today, love will not wake you up.
On another note, a lady that becomes a man's punching bag has probably lost some sense of self value. She is probably controlled and manipulated by the man. She is probably living at the mercy of the man. This is not normal. Realize your self worth and carry yourself the way you would love to be treated.
