7 Things People Do That Makes Them Youthful But Not Useful - A Moment Of Sober Reflection

The greatest tragedy in life is not death but living in life without becoming useful to yourself, irrelevant to your family, unnoticed in your generation for good and unprofitable to God that created you.

The following ways are means of becoming youthful but not useful.

1. Making yourself available to men
.
Oftentimes I wonder the kind of life some ladies dreamt of living. You mess up your body with fornication while you're youth and you expect God to give you a prince charming? Who does that? It's one thing to be ignorant or to have lived ignorantly in the past but now that you know the truth, will you be useful to God while you have fragmented your life with every Dick and Harry?

Do you think great women were leftovers of sexual immoralities? O baby, there’s more to life than premarital sex or with boyfriend relationships. You can't be great when you're old, you plan it now by using your youthful life profitably. Get a life! Repent! You can't sow sexual immoralities and you'd expect to reap marital bliss.

2. Pursing everything in skirt and trousers
.
My guy, do you think that the numbers of ladies you bedmate is an achievement to come by? Your mates are making positive impact and are adding value in their generation and you're making a list of the ladies you have sampled: you know how they moan, how good or bad in bed they are. This is not life!

Wake up before it dawns on you that you have destroyed your life beyond repair. There's no big deal about sex! For every sexual relationship you have outside or before marriage is a fragmentation of your glories and virtues.

Who goes to a strange woman (a woman that's not your wife) and comes back the same? Something is missing. Something is reduced and something is introduced.

You are not a man through sexual looseness, a man is defined through responsibility,

3. You don't help family members but outsiders
.
Some people are good at helping others other than their immediate family members, leaving their family members to struggle and suffer while doing Mr. Nice man or woman outside.

God has blessed you to help your family. Don't underrate your family members that are nobody today because you never can tell what would become of them in the future. It's good to help outsiders but you must not ignore your family members when you have the capacity to do so.

Remember, life is like a ladder. Those you help while going up will help you when the tides turn around. Some family members might be an ingrate but not everyone of them.

4. Irresponsible parents

Sorry this might sound crude but I'd be blunt. Parents are meant to nurture their children in the way they should go but it's sick this days to see the kind of parents we have in the society.

They ignore their children by pursing business and work. You wake up very early and return late without the children having a warmth of parenthood. You care much about their academic development but ignore their spiritual growth. You give them all they wanted without training them about life and the realities in it. Money will end but it's the good legacy you leave for your children that would remain.

Do you think a child will help his or her parents when they're irresponsible in his or her well being in life? How can you be useful when you ignore what's needful in the life of your children? Create time for your children today so that they won't ignore you when their time comes.

5. You don't know why you're here
.
Life doesn't have a meaning if you do not live with a sense of purpose. It is one thing to live and it's another thing to exist. You'll only exist when you pursue your own dreams and ambitions but you will live when you fulfill God's purpose for your life.

Do you know that you're not just created for yourself? Let me tell you: you're created to help others find bearing and direction in life. Don't just be youthful, be useful and you can achieve this by living with the knowledge of why you're here.

It is when you know why you're here that you can equally help others to live a purposeful life.

Is your life useful to God in this time of your youth? There are many youths whose life is promoting the kingdom of darkness. Ladies are using their bodies and beauty to lead more souls to hell and men are using their energies to advance the cause of the devil.

That you're created by God doesn't mean you will return back to Him. What kind of life are you living if I may ask you? Has your life brought a soul to Christ or your character is leading many astray? You who claim to know God, are you a light or darkness? Is your light shining or dimmed by darkness? Let God be proud of your youthful life. Serve Him and not the world!

Remember, the best time to make positive and eternal impact is now that you're a youth. Don't wait till you're old. Be useful to God, yourself, family and the world at large!
